Derek Deckard serves as Executive Vice President of Construction at LMF Construction. Derek is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for all multifamily construction projects in the Central U.S. Region. Derek has been involved in the construction industry since 2000. During his career, he has worked across the United States as an Owners Rep, General Contractor, and Construction Manager. Through the years, he has been involved in the design, construction, and development of a variety of projects that include a presidential library, data centers, retail, student housing, multifamily, university, and K-12. Derek holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.

Shanon Mullen serves as Construction Controller at LMF Construction. Prior to joining the company, Shanon was with Wade Construction Group, Inc since its formation in 2008 as the Chief Financial Officer. She managed several other roles, from Payroll, Human Resources, Benefits, Risk Management, and investments. Shanon began her career in the Construction industry in 2000 at Phoenix Property Company working directly with consultants, sub-contractors, and suppliers throughout the duration of the Multifamily projects. Shanon holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Eric Gibson is Vice President of Construction for the Texas markets at LMF Construction, LLC. He began his career in Oil & Gas in 2009, building a strong foundation in asset valuation, compliance, and financial strategy before transitioning into construction in 2017. At LMF, Eric oversees all construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. He has managed more than $1 billion in commercial and multifamily developments and brings extensive experience as an Owner’s Representative, General Contractor, and Construction Manager. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Abilene Christian University and lives in Rockwall, TX with his wife Hanna and their five children.

David Luke is a seasoned construction professional with over 30 years of experience managing large-scale multifamily developments. As Project Manager at LMF Construction, he oversees all phases of project execution, including design coordination, permitting, subcontractor buyouts, budgeting, and quality control. Throughout his career, David has led the construction of numerous luxury apartment communities ranging from 150 to 450 units and has held senior roles with Alliance Residential, Hardison/Downey Construction, Picerne Real Estate Group, and Trammel Crow Residential. Known for delivering projects on time and under budget, he brings deep expertise in budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor management, consistently meeting investor expectations and enhancing long-term property value.

Herb Elliot serves as Vice President of Construction at LMF Construction with over 40 years’ experience in construction. While being a second-generation multifamily construction professional, he is also well versed in Mix Use, Commercial, Distribution and Science & Technology. Having managed projects in 12 states and being licensed in 3 his ability to adapt to the market and site requirements is proven. He brings leadership and team building traits he acquired while serving in the military. This includes strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on the resolution of a challenge. He is effective in working with all levels of management, owners, and those on a projects’ team.

April brings over 13 years of experience in the AEC and CRE industries. She began her career with one of Texas’s leading multifamily investment sales teams at Institutional Property Advisors before transitioning into construction with JLL’s Project and Development Services team, where she discovered her passion for construction and began her career in business development for a general contractor. April excels at building lasting relationships and collaborating with industry leaders, focusing on understanding project goals and aligning teams to deliver exceptional results for clients. In 2023, she was honored as CoreNet’s Young Leader of the Year. She holds a degree in Business Marketing from Kansas State University and enjoys spending time with her husband, Jace, and their daughter, Wrenley.

Brenda Prewitt began her career in Construction in 2013, starting as a Project Administrator. Her experience and specialty in project-related administrative and accounting functions for large scale multifamily projects are what led her to join Leon MF Construction, LLC in February 2022 as the Operations Manager. She collaborates closely with owners, consultants, sub-contractors, and suppliers from start to finish, averaging five ongoing projects at a time. Over the years Brenda has been part of building Luxury Multifamily Living, ranging from 225 to 415 units.
